Perhaps the most popular attraction near Dillon is the Darlington Raceway. Coined the “The Lady in Black” and “The Track too Tough to Tame”, the Darlington Raceway is built for Nascar professionals. Built in 1950, the course holds close to 50,000 attendees and provides a true professional Nascar experience hosting some of the industry’s top drivers.

4. Darlington Dragway
If Nascar isn’t your thing, perhaps drag racing is more up your alley. The Darlington Dragway is just down the street from the larger, Darlington Raceway. What’s more exciting than seeing some of the world’s coolest cars travel at over 200mph?
5. Twin Lakes Golf Club
If you are looking for a slower paced outdoor activity near Dillon, SC Twin Lakes Golf Club is the place for you. The course covers over 6,100 acres of golf terrain, 18 holes, 2 ponds and multiple sand bunkers. Making it a great course for both experienced golfers and vacationers looking for a casual day out on the links.
The course is located in Hamer, South Carolina, less than 10 minutes from Bass Lake Campground.
